Written by The University of Sussex is looking for new partnership schools and mentors to join our existing schools in hosting placements for our student teachers on the Classics PGCE course 2024-25.
We are currently looking for a school within up to an hour and a
half commute from Streatham. Latin has to be 50% of the student teachers’
timetable – up to 8 hours by Christmas – and ideally Greek, Class
Civ and/or Ancient History but alternative subjects can be offered. Our student
can offer MFL (Russian). Placement 1 has to focus on 11-16 but could
contain some A Level if the school has this provision.
